1. Controller and scope

Bondeskovgaard ApS, Hestehavevej 40, 4320 Lejre, Denmark, is the operator of this website and the controller of personal information that it receives directly. This policy covers the website, bilingual quizzes, downloadable JPEG result cards, browser-only profile, local history and contact functions.

2. Information stored locally

The site can store a display name, optional email address, language preference, quiz answers, result pattern, completion date and up to five contact drafts in localStorage in your current browser. This information is not automatically sent to Bondeskovgaard ApS. It has no server backup, password reset or cross-device synchronisation.

You can remove local profile and history through the profile page or erase site data through your browser settings. Private browsing and browser cleanup may remove it automatically.

3. Contact information

The contact form prepares an email in your own email application. The website does not transmit the message itself. When you choose to send an email, we may receive your name, email address, message, attachments and normal email delivery metadata. We use this information to respond, keep appropriate records and handle legal or security issues.

4. Technical records

A live hosting, security or network provider may process IP address, browser type, device information, requested page, date and time, response status and security or error events. These records are used to deliver pages, maintain availability, prevent abuse and investigate technical problems.

5. Purposes and legal grounds

Depending on the context, processing may be necessary to provide a service you requested, based on your consent, required by law, or supported by legitimate interests such as website security, communication, record keeping and the defence of legal claims. We do not use quiz answers to make automated decisions with legal or similarly significant effects.

6. Sharing and international transfers

We do not sell personal information. Limited data may be processed by hosting, email, security, IT and professional advisers where necessary. Bondeskovgaard ApS is based in Denmark, so information actively emailed to us may be processed in Denmark, the European Economic Area or provider locations protected by applicable contractual or legal safeguards.

7. Retention

  • Local browser data remains until you or the browser removes it.
  • The local quiz history is limited to 30 entries and contact drafts to five.
  • Contact emails are normally retained while an enquiry is active and afterwards only for a proportionate record, legal or dispute period.
  • Technical logs are retained for a period appropriate to security, troubleshooting and operational needs.

8. Security

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures appropriate to a static informational website. No storage or transmission method is completely secure. Protect your browser, device and email account, and do not send unnecessary sensitive information.

9. Your rights

Depending on applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability or objection concerning identifiable information held by us, and may withdraw consent where consent is the legal basis. Mandatory exceptions may apply. You may complain to the Danish Data Protection Agency or another competent authority. For Hong Kong users, we also aim to handle relevant personal data consistently with the Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance and its Data Protection Principles.

10. Children and changes

The site is intended for a general audience and is not specifically directed to children. Users who cannot independently consent under local law should use it with a parent or guardian. We may update this policy when features, providers or legal requirements change. The revision date will be updated when material changes are made.
